Identification note: Exact Pick catalog number and precise reverse building identification require reference check; condition assessment limited to photos. | Attributes match the Gibraltar Government QEII 1 Pound type printed by Thomas De La Rue: red-brown note, right-facing crowned QEII portrait with Rock of Gibraltar vignette at left, Government of Gibraltar legend, and date 15 Sept. 1979. This aligns with the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money Pick P-20 series for the 1975–1980s QEII £1 type. Exact suffix (e.g., P-20b for 1979) depends on the specific signature and possibly serial format, which are not fully verified from the provided evidence.
