Identification note: Exact Pick number/subtype and printer not read; dimensions are standard for the type; precise grade not professionally assessed; last year of issue approximate for this design. | Canada, Bank of Canada $2 from the 1986 Birds of Canada series matches Pick type for the brown QEII note with American robins reverse and large CANADA text. Face legend shows OTTAWA 1986 as on all Birds $2 issues (1986–1991). The serial prefix CBG indicates a regular issue (not obviously a replacement), but the specific signature pair and printer are not provided, so the exact suffix (signature variety) cannot be verified. Therefore the general type P-97 is given as an estimated candidate; plausible suffixes correspond to the different signature pairs Circulated during this issue. Replacement subtype (P-97r) would apply only if a replacement prefix were present, which is not evidenced here.
